jaxrts.plasma_physics.calculate_mean_free_charge_more(rho: Quantity, m_A: Quantity, Z_A: float, T_e: Quantity) → Quantity[source]

Finite Temperature Thomas Fermi Charge State using an analytical fit provided by [More, 1985] p. 332 (Table IV).

Note

This fit is only applicable to a OCP.

Parameters:

  • rho (Quantity) – Mass density in [mass]/[length]**3

  • m_A (Quantity) – Atomic mass

  • Z_A – Atomic Charge number

  • T_e (Quantity) – Electron temperature in [K]

Returns:

Z_f (Quantity) – The mean free charge of the ions in the OCP
