jaxrts.models.IPDModel.all_element_states

abstractmethod IPDModel.all_element_states(plasma_state: PlasmaState, ion_population=None) → list[Array][source]

Return the IPD for each possible ionization state for the constituents of the plasma, assuming the average plasma conditions are given by the passed plasma_state. Can optionally be handed the argument ion_population to not only operate on average quantities, but over the whole distribution of elements.

Parameters:

  • plasma_state (PlasmaState) – The plasma state containing the average plasma properties

  • ion_population

  • optional

Returns:

list[jnp.ndarray] – A list with an entry for each element in jaxrts.plasmastate.PlasmaState.ions. The entry contains the IPD for each possible ionization process of the ion, starting by 0 to jaxrts.elements.Element.Z - 1.
