Calculates the Born-Mermin Approximation for the dielectric function, which takes collisions into account. The collision frequency is evaluated at no_of_points frequencies, and interpolated to save computation time. (See the MCSS user guide [Chapman and Collaborators, 2016]).

Local field corrections (lfc) are included as described by [Fortmann et al., 2010], i.e., by modifying the susceptibilities before the Mermin approach is calculated (See eqn. (7) and (8), therein). The collision frequency, however, is not using the LFC corrected xi’s
